I grew up studying WWII and thinking that humanity should never face the same horror! I felt deep sympathy for the Jews and their suffering. I wanted to understand how humanity could be so mean! I wasn’t able to. But I’ve learnt something: we should be better and we must do better. Unfortunately, nothing prepared me to see history repeating itself, now with the Jewish nation as the perpetrator of the exact same horrific actions against, again, civilians! I know these are not the actions of the Jewish people. Again, they are the actions of mad people that others allow to rule them! We should all be better and do much better!!!
